Meet the Team
Originally Northern Granite and Cabinetry, our team at Cabinet Place Online has been working with Conestoga Wood Specialties for over 25 years. The team, Robert Thompson, Mike Smith and Pete Sadowski are all licensed builders with over 100 years of combined building experience. All three have built their own homes, and have been designing kitchens for years, which is what led to their relationship with Conestoga.
Pete Sadowski
Sales Manager
I have two kids and two rescue dogs. I graduated from Michigan State University, in Construction Management & Business. In 1981 I started a construction business, with restoration, and kitchen & bath remodeling as our expertise. I enjoy vegetable gardening, landscaping, time in my wood shop, and working on my next home improvement. I really like working with new clients, helping them design their dream kitchen, and seeing it thru to completion.
Natasha Rae
Cabinet Specialist
I have 3 children, a giant African boerboel, and 2 cats. I come from a long line of loggers and woodworkers. I have over 20 years experience in design, sales and project management. I am always building something with a child strapped to me in some fashion. I enjoy designing homes and cabinetry solutions, painting, playing instruments, sports, and of course my children and all their energy and eagerness of independence and knowledge I hope to have a farm one day!
Robert Thompson
Co-Founder
I enjoy designing and working in wood. My home and property, which includes numerous decks, water features and buildings has been featured in numerous publications. My hobbies also include collecting vintage automobiles and gardening.

I live in rural North Florida with my wife, Darby. We recently bought and remodeled her grandparents' old house, which needed a lot of work, but we love living in a home with so many memories. We enjoy living a simple life and staying connected to our family, church, community, and roots. In my free time, I'm generally working on one of the million little projects that need to be done around the house.
Mike Smith
Cabinet Specialist
I have three kids, and have worked for years as a psychologist. In 1989 I designed and built the home I currently live in with my wife Paulette. We were running a program for kids with severe behavior problems at the time, but the experience of building my home led me to a change in direction, and I have been building since. My hobbies include music (guitar and piano), hockey and building furniture.
