Lead Time UPDATE (1-1-22): Current lead-times are all over the place, and can range from 8 to 16-weeks, depending on a lot of different factors, such as; Material, 'Ship to' State, Door design, Conestoga's current capacity, etc. We usually will have your actual ship date, a day or two after your order is placed.
*Special arrangements will have to be worked out with Cabinet Place Online, for orders going to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.

When the Freight company arrives, ask to see the BOL before he lowers the pallets to the ground. It is very important that you make sure the BOL (bill of Lading) has the exact pallet, and loose box count that are on the truck. If it doesn't, then write MISSING on the BOL. If you see any damaged boxes and you suspect possible damage, then write DAMAGE on the BOL. After the pallets are on the ground, and the driver asks you to sign the BOL, make sure you take a picture after you have signed it. If you have any missing pallets, or missing loose boxes, or have possible damage, please contact your Cabinet Place Online Salesperson, and we will guide you thru the remedy process.
Standard shipping (large semi-truck) is curbside only. If you have a flat driveway, and a nearby garage, depending on the freight driver, he or she may be willing to wheel your pallets to your garage, on his pallet jack, but this is between you and them. It is recommended that you have several people to help with the delivery unloading.
Lift-gate shipping (smaller truck) may be available (ask your Cabinet Place Online sales person). This service will generally get the pallet(s) to the ground, and under certain circumstances, they might be willing to roll the pallet(s) to nearby shelter. However, some help unloading may still be required. There is an additional fee for this type of delivery.
You can see pictures, from the Colegrove project showing how the cabinets are boxed up. The owner had access to fork-lift, so he removed his order with the cabinets still on the pallets.
Cabinet Place Online provides your contact information (that you provide us and have verify we have it correct on your quote/order form) to the freight company, and instructs them to contact you directly, to arrange the date and time, for your delivery. If the freight company attempts delivery, based on your arrangements with them, but is unsuccessful (nobody home, no-one available to assist in unloading, inaccessible location, etc), a re-delivery charge will be assessed to you.
Changing the delivery address after your order has shipped, is very expensive, $250. and up. Not accepting your order, within the 3-days window, might start accumulating storage fees, of a $100. per day and up. Having the freight company spend more than 20 mins trying to make your delivery can result in additional fees.
Damage Claims / Returns
Claims for damage or missing products must be reported to Cabinet Place Online within 10 business days from the day you receive your cabinet order. We will contact Conestoga, for you, and make all the arrangements for your replacement cabinets and/or components.
There are no provisions for returns or refunds of part or the entire order based on dissatisfaction with the shipping/freight carrier, or excessive damage.
