Conestoga Ships to all 50 States* and Canada*
Conestoga ships to CA, FL, NY and all the rest of the united states. Cabinet orders (finished products), usually ship out from Conestoga's facilities in either NC or PA, in approx. 15-business days***. Shipping Cabinet orders to New York, adds approx. 2-more days. Orders going to California, adds approx. 6-more days, and cabinet orders going to Florida, adds approx. 3-more days.
*Special arrangements will have to be worked out with Cabinet Place Online, for orders going to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.
***Due to the Covid Pandemic, and a huge demand increase for Conestoga cabinets, lead-times have been changing. As of 8-1-21, lead-time are approx. 10 to 12 weeks. Please inquire as to the curretn lead-time when placing your order.
Your Conestoga cabinet order will be shipped by common carrier, (Fed Ex Freight, UPS Ground, Ward, etc.). Conestoga will decide the best way to ship, based on freight rates to your zip code. It is very important that you make sure the shipper (delivery receipt) has the exact pallet, and loose box count that is being delivered, and if you see any damaged boxes or skids, it is very important that when the shipper asks you to sign off on the shipper (delivery receipt, bill of lading, etc.), you write "DAMAGE", and then sign off.
Standard shipping (large semi-truck) is curbside only, and the freight driver may only be willing to get the items to the back of the truck. Most boxes weigh less than 40lbs, but can be awkward to handle for one person. It is recommended that you have several people to help with the delivery unloading.
Lift-gate shipping (smaller truck) may be available (ask your Cabinet Place Online sales person). This service will generally get the pallet(s) to the ground, and under certain circumstances, they might be willing to roll the pallet(s) to nearby shelter. However, some help unloading may still be required. There is an additional fee for this type of delivery.
You can see pictures, from the Colegrove project showing how the cabinets are boxed up. The owner had access to fork-lift, so he removed his order with the cabinets still on the pallets.
Cabinet Place Online provides your contact information to the freight company, and instructs them to contact you directly, to arrange the date and time, for your delivery. If the freight company attempts delivery, based on your arrangements, but is unsuccessful (nobody home, no-one available to assist in unloading, inaccessible location, etc), a re-delivery charge will be assessed to you.
Damage Claims / Returns
Claims for damage or missing products must be reported to Cabinet Place Online within 10 business days from the day you receive your cabinets. We will contact Conestoga, for you, and make all the arrangements for your replacement order.
There are no provisions for returns or refunds of entire orders based on dissatisfaction with the shipping/freight carrier, or excessive damage.
